just had reason to look out this excellent song once again - the link Stewie provided no longer seems to work ... found some other stuff though :
It seems The Uglys were a Brummagen band and this thought-provoking little number was BIG, Down Under in Oz in 1965 (not so in England though)... Dave Pegg was a former member of The Uglys too ...
