Puh-leeze Mister Conductor,
Don't put me offa this train
The very best friend that a boy ever had
Is waiting for me in vain,
Ex-pected to die any moment
She may not live through the day
I've got to bid Mother goodbye, sir
Before God takes her away.

There. That's the chorus, which is all I know, so, Bill, how about some verses?? I looked in DT and didn't find it, and I agree, it's a classic.
Blessings,
Barbara
