Actually, I thought from the thread title that you knew of a parody...it would be a ripe one if anybody wrote it, that's for sure. By the way, the words in the DT have probably been folk processed more than a little. I found another set of words here, which appear more authentic, and include a verse that was spoken. I thought the song might be in the Levy sheet music collection (click on "Links" at the top of the Mudcat page), but they only have one song by Harry Wincott and this isn't it. Of course, as he said, Charlie has the definitive words...

It's amazing what one can do if one doesn't want to do work that has to be done!
