Gosh, thanks everyone. I hardly know what to say. The situation is a little like a fruit basket upset at the social service agency. It's called Independence Inc. There seems to be a pretty serious personnel shortage, and I think the Board of Directors really is serious about putting the situation to rights. As of today's date, the Search Committee has not been constituted, so I don't know when interviews will be conducted. But I'll post a message when I find out all the details.
