No, George, Jeffrey didn't like girls. He was friendly with a couple when he was young, but that was it. Jeff liked boys.

Charlie won't be getting out of jail.

It's okay, George.

Now Dammit George, take your medicine.

No...Dahmer liked to EAT boys, but I think his social life involved a date with a woman from time to time. And you don't think Manson will get out? He's locked up in California, and that photo makes him look like a Scwarzenegger supporter, so maybe if he offers his celebrity endorsement to Arnold, a little clemency would be in order later on. Manson could be back on the streets putting together another harem this time next year.

Mystery Date...yoooou've got a Mystery Date...

Now, now, George. Jeffrey Dahmer's dead and didn't like girls anyway, and Chucky Manson's in prison and very unlikely to get out (and, given prison life, probably doesn't like girls anymore). They won't get you.

Now take your meds like a good President and dream about wining next year's election. That's a good boy.

Dammit George, take your medicines!

OK...how to make the point that guns are good with you women? I know...there was a game once called 'Mystery Date.' You got to make a choice and you hoped you got a STUD instead of a DUD. Had a catchy television theme song, too...(hope the html works):

'Mystery Date...you've got a Mystery Date...will he be a stud?...or a dud?'

CHOOSE ME! ... NO, CHOOSE ME!

'Mystery Date...you've got a Mystery Date...will he be a stud?...or a dud?'

CHOOSE ME!CHOOSE ME! ... NO, CHOOSE ME!

'Mystery Date...you've got a Mystery Date...'

Sleep tight, girls!

The propaganda is coming out of the talking heads on the news shows telling you everything is alright. Everything is as normal. An aggressively anti-rights US govt is seeking to disarm the American populace. And who you gonna turn to for justice...the Supreme court? Judge Ruth Bader Ginsberg just said the court relied on European Union precedent in striking down the Texas sodomy law. So, now even our top court is kow-towing to the globalist power-brokers. Judge Breyer and others have said the Constitution is not relevant anymore, and THEY ARE ARE SUPREME COURT JUSTICES WHO SWORE AN OATH OF ALLEGIANCE TO UPHOLD THE THING! And the Bushes have informed us Communist China is the 'model for the future', so this world govt everyone is pushing on you is NOT benign. Dissidence = death in China BECAUSE THE POPULACE IS DISARMED AND CANNOT CONTROL ITS GOVERNMENT.

Anyway, if you only read one of 'these threads' 'every once in a while,' maybe you missed what I posted about the Supermax prison in Inez, Kentucky. It is a death camp. $146 million spent to house 800 prisoners. Yeah, right. Built on top of an old, old coal mine. And a couple years ago, there was a biological spill there that released 50+ times the amount of crap the Exxon Valdez did. Sludge pumped into a cavern to create a lake, but the substrata between the lake and the tunnel beneath was only 13 feet while Federal law requires 80. And these folks KNOW those mines and knew EXACTLY what they were doing. So the floor of the lake caved in and the sludge went shooting out old tunnel entrances and into creeks and flooded towns and houses. And while this was going on below ground, they were building a Super Maximum prison directly above. A portal to miles and miles of tunnels just waiting to receive the remainders of Americans in the coming years. And this is the stuff they're doing more or less in plain sight. They build this thing while Section 802 of the PATRIOT Act classifies you as a domestic terrorist and the Homeland Security Act makes it legal to 'disappear' you if you are SUSPECTED of being a terrorist.

This is not paranoia, whereas the trait you're exhibiting IS denial. Buy guns, support politicians who do NOT want to kill your Second Amendment RIGHT to bear arms, and hope its not too late.

DG

Awwww, just funnin' with ya DG...

But like I've pointed out in the past, there are enough guns held privately now for each man, woman and child to have one for each hand, so going out buying more ain't gonna do a lick of good.

And, BTW, I own my share of 'em allready, but have no interest in owning an AK-47 or M-16. Up here in the mountains a 12 guage pump is about all you need...

In an all-out assault against America, grid patterns would be bombarded with various electronic weapons, aerosol poisons, etc. If the US/UN military is put to the task. The internet backbone will go down and FEMA cut-off switches will knock out all TV. When the tube comes back on you'll be fed govt propaganda. You'll be told the planes spraying cyanide on you are actually spraying a vaccine. Psychotronic and ELF and radar weapons will kill everything. IF it comes to that.

But that would be too easy for the terrorists running the world now. They're sadists and enjoy watching the suffering. So in my part of the world (Texas) the very real threat we now face is a two-front war. It's been proven the CIA bombed Bali and now Jakarta and various places in the Phillipines, so when they set off a nuke and blame it on North Korea, American troops will all be out of country. And Texas will be vulnerable. Some say there are a half million Chinese troops in Southern Mexico...waiting for marching orders. The Mexicans and various rag tags will join them, and we're going to have to defend ourselves. That's a more likely scenario...capping ChiComs coming up from the south. Now tell me about your freakin' bleeding heart fear for kids when you're facing that, you idjits. Every house should have an arsenal. I hope the suckers marching north think it's going to be a cakewalk and march in straight lines. I hope when the day comes I can drill three blue berets per round. And I really don't think the govt is going to use the big guns because they want the SOLDIERS to die, too. They want carnage.

A gun is just a tool, and like any tool, when you need it you REALLY need it. Buy them while you can, and quit supporting the destruction of the RIGHT to bear arms. Washington and Jefferson and those folks put that in the Constitution so we could defend ourselves against government. Grow up, people. An abusive government is trying to disarm you. That govt has declared you a 'domestic terrorist' if you break a State or a Federal law, and there are 30 million Federal laws and 100 million state laws. If you are 'suspected' of being a terrorist now, you can be held incommunicado, stripped of your citizenship, tortured, and sentenced to death by a military tribunal. In America. Don't give up your guns. Whatever you do, don't budge an inch on the guns, or your kids will end up as ashes in the bottom of America's Auschwitz in Inez, Kentucky. You know I'm right on this.

DG

Idunno, uday and qusay did pretty well for 4 and 1/2 hours against the army, that is if they really weren't tortured for most of that time.

Seriously, given the EM weapons and blackest of all, scaler weapons and the willingness of the current administration to use anything and everything to achieve its goals, your pile of nitrate propelled lead is meaningless and absurd , unless you are planning to kill your family or friends. You see that is the most common use of a privately owned gun invlolved in a homocide.

meanwhile ;)

Watch what you say or you will be put in a free speech zone.
Watch what you do or what used to be a 6 month sentence will be magnified with the new anti terrorist laws into 10 or 20 years.
"Crimes" that were never prosecuted before are now getting a year in jail - if you take the plea bargain.

Come to think of it hide your gun. You never know when you'll need it, like the new US Secretary of the Navy who committed suicide last month.

As I type, in Iraq, you can be arrested for selling if you don't have a Halliburton permit. The people who were put back on the public payrolls at twenty bucks a month have Halliburton permits, and if you don't have one when you try to engage in selling, US troops put a bag over your head, lead you off and beat you. If you show disrespect to a US soldier, you are bagged and beaten. Iraq is a training ground for America's future cops. These guys are being given a taste of guilt-free brutality, and they'll be recruited by police depts when they return home. And our police now race around in black ski masks and burn down houses when serving warrants. And the largest cause of cop deaths in America now is SWAT team raids 'gone wrong'...cops shooting other cops. Good cops more and more are taking bullets to the backs of their heads.

And how did we get to this point? Certainly a big part of it the past couple years was in response to Sept 11 and those brave people who rassled with the terrorists...but wait...what's THIS? You mean we've been LIED to by the govt?

And a while back the lord high cop of London said that in a bio-attack, London would be cordoned off, and anyone attempting to leave would be shot. He wouldn't be able to say that if the Brits had guns. Without guns, you are a slave. While they're charging the cordons around London with pointy sticks, Americans will be charging with firearms...IF you people grow up and assume responsibility for your country.

Yeah, what Bobert says!

My brother always used to insist that it should be mandatory that everyone wear a firearm when leaving the house. You would be arrested and jailed if you didn't wear one.

His reasoning was that all the smart people would stay indoors for a fortnight or so, and everyone else would blow each other away whilst going about their usual heedless, rude, brain-dead business.

Then when the dust had settled and all the bodies removed, the smart ones'd come out and the world would be a much smarter (and nicer) (and roomier) place.

You're wrong, GUEST. Bush doesn't want your guns. He just wants a lot of you to take your pea-shooters out into the streets with them so he can mow yopu all down and be done with you. Fighting America's military industrial complex with guns is absolute stupidity.

You want to fight to get you country back. Take to the streets with a message. No guns. You'll have a much better chance of surviving the day. Organize boycotts aginst the corporations that advertize on Fox. Talk up the idea of anational strikes aginst the ruling class.

But leave yer pea-shooter at home, dangit. Don't play by Boss Hog's rules. He underdstands guns real, real well!!!

That's just the House version of the bill. Wait til the US Govt manufactures another Columbine shooting...a hundred kids killed...govt-controlled media coverage of weeping parents, and then the SENATE postures and GW inks up his pen. I mean, the House version is bad enough because it gives John Ashcroft the power to determine what a 'hunting' gun is. Totally subjective...up to the whim of a satanistic fascist maniac whose voters in his home state elected a dead man rather than him.

The US Constitution calls gun ownership a 'God-given RIGHT'. The founders of the US were dead serious about citizens being capable of protecting themselves from an abusive govt, and we're letting it slip away. Carjacking in Texas on the rise, dropped to almost nothing the night they passed the Concealed Handgun Carry law. Guns keep people honest. And just go back to those ten posterboys at the top and tell me THEY'RE not gonna get a gun if they want one.

All those weapons you just mentioned are about to be outlawed. The phony 'conservative' GWBush and the phony 'conservative' congress are about to do it. ADD items to Clinton's gun ban and remove the sunset clause.

Hopefully you have enough weapons. Hopefully the push to physically conquer America will happen soon, before half of the weak-kneed are cowed into surrendering their weapons.

Look at this link for the INEZ, KENTUCKY PRISON, folks. 150 million dollars to house 800 prisoners? Bushit. This thing is built over a coal mine. And a couple years ago that mine had a blowout of sludge that caused fifty times the pollution of the Exxon Valdez. This place was fouled underground, and now it is a portal to a vast death chamber. This is the last place millions and millions of Americans are going to see. And you'll see it quicker if you give up your guns.

Okay, serious then.

I started shooting when I was 11. At 12 my mother required that I go to the local rifle range for instruction -- and when they turned 12 my brothers and sister also went. In the words of my mother, "There are so many guns out there...I want you kids to learn enough that you won't get hurt." And she REQUIRED that we shoot for three years thereafter, every Saturday night during the winter, at the range.

Both of my brothers shoot and hunt. Both have children; one has seven and the other two. ALL of the kids have attended hunting safety classes and were REQUIRED to pass without any mistakes -- a perfect score. They all have.

My cousins have done the same thing as my brothers.

There is no requirement that the kids continue to shoot or hunt. But in the words of my brother, "I want them to know enough to be safe. There are a lot of guns around and mostly their in the hands of fools." (I told him he sounded like mother, and he laughed.)

And yet...my brothers and I are in favor of gun control, a license that shows you are responsible and mature enough to own and use guns. Once, around 1959, such a thing was possible. Not now.

By the way, I have come to the conclusion that there are NO gun "accidents." Just carelessness.

(Oh, and Guest -- my family owns and can use efficently pistols, revolvers, and long guns. Even the women. Let's see: bolt action rifles, both rim and centerfire; self-loading rifles, both rim and centerfire; muzzleloading rifles, both cap and flint lock; shotguns, pump, self-loading, double barrel, 12 and 20 gauge; caplock and flintlock pistols; black powder revolvers; cartridge revolvers from .22 to .44 magnum; self-loading pistols from .22 to .45 ACP. Bows, arrows. Two cannons. About a dozen or more swords, from original claymore to naval cutlass. How the hell many weapons do we need, fer Chrissakes???)

Mister's family had guns in the house and the only incident close to an injury was that he hit his granny with a suction dart from a kid's toy. It bounced off her, of course. Used to be, kids listened to their daddy when he said, touch that and I'll whip your ass.

Likewise we have had a loaded pistol in the house for the last 13 years. It's never even been fired in all that time.

If anyone tries to take my muzzleloader I'll just shoot 'em with my bow and arrow. ;-) Then I'll whack them upside the head with my cast iron skillet. After that I reckon people will want to ban skillets.

I am thinking the crackhead escapee might just be canny enough to take your gun away from you and use it on you, your wife and your dog. Then yer fucked. Why risk it?

Statistics show that many guns purchased for protection of a home end up injuring or killing members of the homeowner's family, often children. Somehow these fear mongers don't think it's worthwhile to teach their children about gun safety even though they have one in the house. Stupid.

Equal parts gasoline, paraffin (kerosene) and used motor oil -- a recipe from the British Home Guard.

Gasoline with enough styrofoam dissolved in it to gel it.

Drano crystals in an unlubbed condom, tied up tight and dropped into gasoline. (The condom for a delay.)

Saltpeter and ascorbic acid crystals.

Potassium permanganate and pure glycerin.

Gosh, what you learn here! I wasn't aware that gorillas
kicked in doors. The only time that ever happened to me it wasn't by a gorilla but by a petty thug who kicked in the door, stole my wife's purse, and ran like hell away.

Mind you, we were both upstairs; I was in bed. My firearms were in the basement, and even if I had a weapon nearby the punk was GONE long before I went downstairs to see what was happening.

Of course, I suppose that I could have waited around, shotgun in hand, for the thief to show up. I do, however, have other things to do with my life.

Guest, your paranoia about firearms is silly. If you know how, you can obtain (or make) firearms and many other weapons, but I'm certainly not going to tell YOU how to do it.

Besides, if I'm in a place where I need a weapon, I probably shouldn't be there at all.

Oh, and let me point out that I've been shooting - quite accurately, thank you -- since I was 11 years old. I own several firearms and I have a "concealed carry" permit (which I don't use). Long ago I learned that these weapons are tools, just like a hammer. They are not a solution.

funny...I know there are lots of villains like those in the cute pics out there. (Maybe even MORE in wild 'ol Texas) but in all my life I have NEVER had one come to my door and try to kick it in. I have NEVER been in a situation where I thought I needed a gun, and if I had one, I'd probably forget to load it or forget what drawer it was in!

I pay taxes to have COPS trained to deal with those bad guys, and I'd prefer it remain that way(yeah, yeah, I know--can't trust all the cops).....if everyone is armed, the # of shootings is just gonna rise as hotheads decide to settle petty arguments the fast way....

Hey, those locals were just the ones photogenic enough to have their pictures in the paper. And the first link about the guns...ALL 'automatic' shotguns will be banned, for example. More than one shell. That means double-barreled shotguns.

And today on conservative radio I heard the guy who follows Ru$h Limbaugh spouting off about how keychain pen knives should be outlawed. And these are the 'gun rights CONSERVATIVES' spouting this stuff. This is Marxist Diane Feinstein thinking, folks...take all the weapons so we can do some SERIOUS social re-engineering, yet on the radio the conservatives are being brainwashed by their programs to accept this crap.

I don't WANT those gorillas pictured in the first link kicking in my door without getting that foot blown off. You take care of yourself in this life as much as possible, and defensive weapons help you do that. The Founders of the US talked about how govts were the most dangerous creation of humans, and they tried to PROTECT us from abusive govt. Yet today there are 30 million federal laws, 100 million state laws, and no telling how many local laws. If the govt now disarms us, we are dead meat heading for the mass grave in Inez, Kentucky. Implementation of a billion laws will make us ALL criminals. Tyranny is the historical RULE, not the exception. Guns keep govts honest.

DG

The first message links to a page provided by the National Rifle Association. the page complains that proposed legislation:
Bans every gun made to comply with the Clinton ban. The Clinton ban dictated the kinds of grips, stocks and attachments new guns can have. Manufacturers and gun owners complied and new guns conform to the Clinton requirements. H.R. 2038 bans the new guns too.
Gee, I thought those weapons were designed to get around the Clinton ban. Interesting difference of perspective, no?

Ebbie, I'm talkin' about my Sooper Soaker! You put the water in it and then pump it up really good and it'll shoot maybe 50 or 60 feet.

The pistol version is okay, but the range is lousy. If you want to get one, don't fool around -- get the Big Boy version. It costs a little more, but it wets so much more!

Art, one of them could be Guest....

Rapaire, I can't tell for sure...since I rarely look at the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders above their necks. Could it be a group shot of the Baylor University Young Americans for Freedom or College Republicans chapter?

"For men of understanding do not say that the sword is to blame for murder, nor wine for drunkenness, nor strength for outrage, nor courage for foolhardiness, but they lay the blame on those who make an improper use of the gifts which have been bestowed upon them by God, and punish them accordingly."

St. John Chrysostom (circa 341-410 A.D.), from "Treatise on the Priesthood"

So what do you think about the guys in the Austin article, Ebbie? Are they a good argument for guns? I think those last three pictured would make quite an impression at a liberal tea party, don't you? I mean damn! look at those mugs. lol. Any of you. And then tell me you trust your local cops, much less your terroristic govt, to protect you from them. Those guys'll probably end up holding down Homeland Security jobs before long.

Fact Sheet: Status of Wrangel and Other Arctic Islands
(U.S. has "no intention of reopening discussion" of 1990 Maritime
Boundary Treaty) (520)

Following is a fact sheet issued May 20 by the State Department's
Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs:

(begin fact sheet)

U.S. Department of State
Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs
Washington, DC
May 20, 2003

FACT SHEET
STATUS OF WRANGEL AND OTHER ARCTIC ISLANDS

No negotiations regarding the U.S.-Russia maritime boundary have
occurred since 1990, when the U.S.-USSR Maritime Boundary Agreement
was signed. The negotiations that led to that agreement did not
address the status of Wrangel Island, Herald Island, Bennett Island,
Jeannette Island, or Henrietta Island, all of which lie off Russia's
Arctic coast, or Mednyy (Copper) Island or rocks off the coast of
Mednyy Island in the Bering Sea. None of the islands or rocks above
were included in the U.S. purchase of Alaska from Russia in 1867, and
they have never been claimed by the United States, although Americans
were involved in the discovery and exploration of some of them.

The U.S.-USSR Maritime Boundary Agreement, signed by the United States
and the Soviet Union on June 1, 1990, defines our maritime boundary in
the Arctic Ocean, Bering Sea, and northern Pacific Ocean. The
U.S.-USSR Maritime Boundary Agreement is a treaty that requires
ratification by both parties before it formally enters into force. The
treaty was made public at the time of its signing. In a separate
exchange of diplomatic notes, the two countries agreed to apply the
agreement provisionally. The United States Senate gave its advice and
consent to ratification of the U.S.-USSR Maritime Boundary Agreement
on September 16, 1991."

I don't know why you liberals hate GWBush. He's going to outlaw virtually every gun in America while he SAYS he's in favor of gun ownership.

Meanwhile, here's a little picture of some of our local boys you might be seeing once you give up your guns. Just party guys...you couldn't POSSIBLY need a gun around these fun fellas, would you?
