Subject: RE: Gigs in Kansas & Missouri From: JedMarum Date: 28 Feb 08 - 11:01 AM Raja - I don;t have contact info for Doug but you reach him through Mason Brown. If you go to that link, you'll find a "SEND MESSAGE" button near the top left. Mason is out of town, but probably gets access to this page every few days ... so it give it time. |

Subject: RE: Gigs in Kansas & Missouri From: JedMarum Date: 17 Feb 08 - 09:43 PM If you like Old Time banjo and fiddle tunes ... get into town a day early. This will be an excellent show and a rare opportunity. I am posting the entire text of my friend Mason Brown's email about the project below - but, Mason is truly fine multi-instrumentalist and music scholar. He is playing true Clawhammer guitar on these old time and trad tunes. He's also a great guy and someone I'm sure you.d enjoy meeting. I am sure he'd like to hear from you. Here's his email about the show: "Come join the fun at O'Malley's - Weston, Missouri's historic brewery and pub - and be part of a live concert recording! Douglas Goodhart (fiddle) and Mason Brown (guitar/banjo) will be recording a concert for their live CD at O'Malley's pub, and they want you to be in the audience. Join them for an evening of old-time tunes and traditional songs from the Upper South on Sunday, Feb. 24th, 2008 at O'Malley's Pub in Weston, Missouri from 6-9 pm. Tickets will be $10 at the door. If you'd like to help out, please print out and distribute the attached poster. See you at O'Malley's! . Mason Brown http://www.masonbrown.info/" |
