Agree to all the above; Rowan Piggott is not only the brightest of many young faces around, but also very creative with ideas around the music; see his Songhive project as well as this brilliant Kickstarter campaign. I think you'll find their demographic is very different from all us old geezers however, which maybe explains your lack of comments.

I've just come across this trio on Facebook, and they're raising money for their debut album on Kickstarter

I had heard Rowan Piggot before, maybe at Warwick FF – an astounding traditional singer and fiddle player. The others are new names to me, Rosie Hodgson and Philippe Barnes, but I've been listening to their back catalogue and I can't believe it's taken me this long to find them! There really are unknown corners of the folk scene!

Anyway, the preview of the new album on Facebook is brilliant and I thought they deserved some support from the folk community... I've put the crowdfunding link above, where you can pre-order the new album (the artwork is to die for!) Cheers, Jo
