GREAT NIGHT! The Line up, along meant a long wait, meant we folkies finished the programme with a really strong finish so that people were in no doubt why we were there and that we were 'pure' about what we were doing. Keeping focused on the reasons why helped us through.

Although it was quite a rush, put-together job and enivitably personalities were rubbed together, I think we can feel quite proud of our efforts and the result. We raised over £4,000 and the tickets were a sell-out before the night and people had to be turned away. Additionally when I bought a ticket for someone else, remissively, I think I managed to enlist some folk interest and spread the word to a guy who was asking what the line-up included. Hopefully we will see some expanded audiences as a result.I had many people asking for cards and no.s afterwards

Huge thanks to everyone who supported us.

PS, sorry about the lack of beer Alan, in the dressing rooms, least we had one though and no doubt we will make up for it in the future!

On Friday 28th January 2005, at the Wyllyotts Theatre, Potters Bar, Herts, there will be a fundraising concert in aid of the Tsunami victims. The theatre has a capacity of 420, and the event will provide entertainment for all ages with a variety of song, dance, instrumentals, comedy, folk, blues, jazz.... with a raffle. There is a licenced bar and the concert starts at 7.30pm.

All proceeds will be channelled diectly through the Disasters Emergency Committee.

Tickets are £10 from the Wyllyotts Box office on 01707 645005 (credit cards accepted)
