Subject: RE: Folklore: Pete Atkin/Clive James From: GUEST,Tunesmith Date: 12 Mar 08 - 05:18 PM I saw Pete Atkin as the support act to a rock band back in the 70s. Before the show, I thought that he'd die a death playing to an audience that had come to see some very heavy outfit. Much to my surprise, he went down realy well. very good he was, too. |

Subject: RE: Folklore: Pete Atkin/Clive James From: Micca Date: 14 Mar 08 - 05:53 AM A friend introduced me to Mr Atkins songs many years ago and he had one of the oddest (and most intriguing ) lines in a song ever " In my room I have the plans of the first exploding handshake and the calculated trajectories of Custard Pies" Pete Atkin Master of the Revels |
