Subject: RE: BS: Folkies In Space!! ...caption From: Peace Date: 10 Oct 09 - 03:48 PM I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Nimoy in San Francisco in 1967 or maybe 1968 when I was traveling around the US working (expenses covered but no salary) for Eugene McCarthy. I'd been a Star Trek 'fan'--as in tried never to miss a show--from the first time it aired. Yes, I checked to see whether his ears were pointed. No, they weren't. He was a very nice gentleman and when I told him I'd checked his ears he said, "It's funny how many people do that." As I said, he was a nice guy. |
