Subject: RE: MUDCAT RADIO From: j0_77 Date: 15 Sep 99 - 08:55 PM Hi Max - I got problems :( my puter crashed and broke my modem - had to buy a new one. I lost my RealAudio and got a freebee on the 3com modem cdrom, but this version V 5 does not play the Mudcat radio files ...I don't know why, just says 'Not a RealAudio file'. Any ideas? |
Subject: RE: MUDCAT RADIO From: Max Date: 15 Sep 99 - 08:57 PM J0_77: You have to download the new G2 player. You can link to it from our radio page. |
Subject: RE: MUDCAT RADIO From: Bill D Date: 15 Sep 99 - 10:03 PM I am downloading G2 as we speak....I hope to be listening by this time tomorrow! |
Subject: RE: MUDCAT RADIO From: Jeri Date: 15 Sep 99 - 10:27 PM Max and Bert - great show, ya buggers!!! And callers from three different countries! (I liked the sign on the "iced tea" can.) I really can't wait until y'all are able to go live again and possibly get the chat room up. |
Subject: RE: MUDCAT RADIO From: j0_77 Date: 15 Sep 99 - 11:20 PM In that case Max and any one else who has to 'upgrade' be warned you must delete all realaudio stuff from your machine as well as edit the registry - instructions at RealAudio.com - They say that older version files on your machine can crash it. I know been there already. When I have a couple of hours free I will attempt to upgrade - takes that long to find and remove all the files before upgrading as well as download the g2 file. |
Subject: RE: MUDCAT RADIO From: katlaughing Date: 15 Sep 99 - 11:27 PM Hang in there, Jo77, it'll be worth it. Max, great show. I really enjoyed listening to Alison's and Bill/Sables' phone calls and esp. the On The Street Interviews, very interesting. Only thing is, what happened to the Disney lamp? Bert was totally in the dark, again....I know 'Spaw would say he's always in the dark! Otherwise it was great and a lot of fun. Goood tunes, too. Bert, it was great to hear your lullaby...I remembered it from your posting. luvYaKat |
Subject: RE: MUDCAT RADIO From: catspaw49 Date: 15 Sep 99 - 11:53 PM Yes I would Katmyluv.....But outside of that..... ANOTHER GREAT SHOW>>>>>>LOVED THE CALLS!!!!!!!!!! and thanks for the "appreciation" of my post, but what was that about tar and feathers?........And Max, don't sweat it, Karen and I are bringing the camper. We're not too old for cabin raids though, are we?(:+) Spaw |
Subject: RE: MUDCAT RADIO From: alison Date: 16 Sep 99 - 12:06 AM I haven't heard this show yet... but I know I didn't make a phone call...... is there an imposter????? slainte alison |
Subject: RE: MUDCAT RADIO From: katlaughing Date: 16 Sep 99 - 12:10 AM Oh, Alison, sorry, no imposter. Max played you singing your tune at the beginning and I was thinking of it as a phone call because I guessed that was how you got it to him. Sounded great. kat |
Subject: RE: MUDCAT RADIO From: alison Date: 16 Sep 99 - 12:29 AM Hahaha...... well there you go... there's an advert for sending tunes via Mediaring....... didn't think there could be an imposter.... not many with that accent over here. I'm surprised Max got it to sound so clean...... slainte alison |
