Dear Everybody. I am searching my old recordings and scribble, as part of a lock-down project. It would appear that the Scouse monologues by Brian Jacques are not easy to find, and his booklet "The Gospel According to Brian Jacques" is hard to trace. So far I have found two of his poems recorded in Chester in the 1970s (he performed with The Liverpool Fishermen") However, I only part of a written rendition of his monologue on the Garden of Eden. The first verse is:-The Lord made a mush called Adam and he said "Here you are now lad. You're the very first fella to be on Earth" and Adam said "But oos me Dad?" I have a few more verses: d
does anyone have the rest?

Hi, Sue
No help here as far as a copy is concerned, but . . .
A monologue titled: "Adam 'an Eve" by Brian Jacques seems to be in the booklet "According to Jacques". (No "the Bible" in the title).
Details, a picture of the cover, and a list of contents Here

Hope this helps

Hi, Nigel. Thank you for your help. I must have misremembered the title of the book! I wonder if anyone still has a copy. Sue.

It's also in a book called Get Yer Wack. Brian Jacques is credited as J.B. Jaques.

Info about Ger Yer Wack

Hope this helps a little.

Jay
