Heard a Radio program this week and it seems to tie in nicely with music and healing
village life
Has anyone heard of a monochord? Sonia Slany seemed to be saying that hers can be played while someone lays on its sounding board and the vibrations have therapeutic properties. Spaw can you knock one up from some bits of plywood for Karen? - who would be lying on it not playing it for you!

I have a very good friend who teaches Homeopathic Medicine in Portland,Or. She has spent a great deal of time n France studying this device and she is a big fan of it. She has asked me if I could build one for her and I suppose I could. I can be convinced that the vibration of the device is helpfull and the frequency of the vibration is set by the cps any given chord may generate. And some specific chords may have healing powers at specific frequencies. I am skeptical but open to a new thought now and then. I am not convinced that the sound itself is important. Altho' a pleasing tone is a relaxing thing at times.

A diathermy's vibrations are so fast one can't feel them. Just use Google to search for vibrators for that pleasant pick-me-up feeling, you know where.
