my only time at kerrville (Texas Hill Country) was in 1989. I really had a great time there, excellent memories and learned how to be comfortable in Texan weather once I understood that fire ants and the need for a shaded tentsite are both to be taken seriously.

People with stereotyped ideas about Texas might find their attitudes shifted after a trip to this wonderful festival. It's oriented as a songwriters' gettogether in particular.

Thanks guys, no wonder I hadn't heard of it before. I was looking for somewhere within a couple of hours drive of Manchester. . . . U.K.!! Oh well never mind...Maybe next year.
