I have been searching for a song that was played in an Emmylou Harris special about the effects of Irish music on the music of the USA today. It featured a band singing a song ( I think called Kilkenny Ireland)by way of the letters sent to and from an Irish boy, gone to the US to search for work..to support the family back home.

If you type Kilkelly (note the spelling) in the Filter box and set the Age drop down to 3 years and Refresh, you'll find links to the song you probably want (song is in the DT) and some threads relating to it.
