Help !! anybody know phone numbers for accomodation at Whitby. Our regular friend wants a break from having 'guest' and we (thats moi and the sheep shagger from Chesterfield) need to find somewhere anybody got any ideas ?

Last year Steve & I stayed at Stoupe Cross campsite above the abbey.

Janet & I may be going and her usual accommodation isn't available due to being sold so maybe we could look at getting somewhere between us all.

Sounds a good idea Stu about sharing (well we already share Janet !!) I've made contact with an old buddy who has his (retirement fund) cottage at Whitby. As he's godfather to my sprog, I hope he can help. Will be in touch, perhaps if you and Jan can make some enquiries as well. We know we can look for a place for 4 but if it's bigger then I'm sure we can fill it.

I know Mo and Joe managed to get fixed up on Sunday!! They're stayiong in an apartment close to the Endeavour - they got the contact from John and Rosie. And Rosie told me on Friday evening that there was still room at Middle Earth.

Looks like we've secured a base, courtesy of the link mentioned by Pat and Nick the hologram doesn't require a tent although the offer is very nice.
