Subject: Review: Enter the Haggis From: Tenjiro Date: 16 Aug 03 - 07:20 PM Today my sister, her friend and I all went to the Scottish Highland Games. I go just about every year to look at pretty swords, watch the caber (sp?)toss and oogle hot scottish men in their kilts. This year, however, I was introduced to a music group that I have absolutly fallen in love with. The name of this group? Enter the Haggis. They are a celtic/rock quintet and they combine traditional bagpipes and fiddle with rock guitar and drums to create fantastic songs. Not only are they great musicians but they are funny too. I got to meet their drummer who had a very interesting way to hit on a young lady by using one of their song titles as a pick up line.I sugest to all of you that you visit their website www.enterthehaggis.com and check them out. They are based out of Canada and are on tour now so perhaps you can catch them at a couple of their concerts around the states. ~Amy~ |

Subject: RE: Review: Enter the Haggis From: Billy the Bus Date: 18 Aug 03 - 01:15 AM Mr Happy, your link to a "Haggis" is bull - it refers to a "Vegetarian Variety" which is totally impossible. Haggis is built from the "Livers and Lights" of animals - usually sheep. What did they drink the toast to "Rabbie" with? Water? Ahh... for a taste of Haggis! Slainté - Sam |

Subject: RE: Review: Enter the Haggis From: LadyJean Date: 18 Aug 03 - 07:05 PM We were going to make haggis several years ago, but it's illegal to sell sheep's lungs in Pennsylvania. I am NOT making this up! |
