Bob, I just came across links to your book and thought you might want to hear from someone who knew Paul fairly well from the early 60s until about a month before his death. I have lyrics to a couple of songs he wrote but never recorded or, to my knowledge, published. Also, have a tape made at Columbia studios of several outtakes of Gingerbreadd Mindd. Paul brought a copy of the single to a dance hall in Manhattan one night and they played it and it basically cleared the dance floor. Paul, of course, took this philosophically.
