Buzz Lightyear (he has 30 voices/phrases!) - thanks to staying with daughter and grandchildren for Christmas: in fact woke up to find him in bed with us!

Recently I went to an excellent concert by a Kansas City choral group called Kantorei. They sang 'O Little Town of Bethlehem' to a new tune, a slight modification of 'Forest Green'.

I spent two hours this morning making MIDI/NWC files of that.

And we've moved on to Nate King Cole and Diana Krall. Larry Carlton will be on soon. So we're having a jazzy Christmas.

The thumping inside my head. A glasheen or two needed to stop the drums.

Artisan's "Holly & Ivy" album & best of Noel Sing We Clear while baking and doing food prep, repeatedly, since I didn't have to wash hands to hit the repeat button with a knuckle not covered in dough.

Was at our daughter's for Christmas and forgot to take the CDs I usually play if stuck in the kitchen: includes The Czech Christmas Mass, Medieval Babes, bits of Maddy Prior and Tim Hart and the Carnival band - but really can't beat the carols CD that was made while my kids were at school in the 90s: best version ever of O Holy Night!

I always listen to Robin Petrie's "A Victorian Christmas" while I'm making dinner. Very restful--instrumental, with hammered dulcimer, harp, piano, & strings. Love it!
