North Bucks has the stuff in Stony Stratford and Olney has Julie B's session (I think) and Whittlebury and Winslow and all that stuff... I know for a fact there's stuff on in Aylesbury, Naphill, Chesham, Tingewick - so I suppose the accurate answer to your wuestion is 'yes'. Anyway, welcome to Mudcat. |

There's Bedford FMC at the King's Arms, St Mary's St, Bedford every Thursday (singarounds, with the occasional guest night) Steve |

07 Sep 01 - 07:13 AM (#544314) Subject: RE: Help: Bucks events From: Gervase Just over the border in Cookham there's the Maidenhead Folk Club, which meets on Thursdays, and there's one near High Wycombe on Wednesdays. Both a friendly, welcoming places with nice people and good guests- give 'em a try. One I haven't been to, but have heard good things about , is the Tudor Folk Club, which meets on Mondays at Chesham. The estimable Martin Nail has a great page of resources and listings for clubs and sessions here which may be able to fill in a few gaps. And for music sessions in Bucks, try here, although some of the listings may be a tad out of date and need a phone call to confirm. |
