Great site. I consult it often, for tunes and songs for my Irish band...

I can't access my favorites list from here, will post some more irish music sites next week when I'm home...

Yes, and they have lots more there besides the Irish. If you check up at the Links up at the top of the of the screen, you can find links to the main section of that site, which would lead you to the other links, such as Scottish, German, French, English, and American.

Very nice site. I feel like I've added another book to my library of music.

A very valuable site, especially for Orange songs which are not as widely known as they should be.
Having said that, I wouldn't be too sure of some of the melodies. One of Barry Taylor's midi tunes simply does not go with the words of the song to which it is ascribed, to wit, "Cumha Eoghain Ruaidh".
I tried to find an address to contact Mr. Taylor to no avail, Pity.

a wonderful site. I hadn't tried the tune thingy but I know far more tunes than words which I usually get wrong when listening (if I get them at all).

In that same vein, sort of; my oldest daughter has been urging me to give a listen to sean nos singing. She cautions me that some singers claiming sean nos-ness are really just singing acapella in Irish. I would like to know where to find genuine sean nos and hopefully purchase a CD which would have more than one artist performing. I have visited Clo lar-Chonnachta's site and Amhran ar an Sean-nos but don't know what it is I am looking at. Guidance please!
