Hi All,
Just a mention that John Morris will be making his first solo folk club appearance in over 7 years at Bedworth Folk Club on wednesday 14th June - Bedworth Conservative Club direction etc on web site Bedworth Folk Club Admission Free - but you have to pay for the real ale!
Ta.
Malc.

Wish I could be there or that Bedworth could be moved to the North East.

I'm sure it will be a great night. As well as being a superb singer, John is such a lovely bloke.

Hi Nutty,

Sorry you can't be there - if you want a giggle see the picture of John we've used on the web site!

Just to make all of you that couldn't make it very envious - it was a really great night, John was on excellent form (and it seemed to bring out the best in the floor singers too) - and we had the best crowd we've had for some time (60+!) - that's the "numbers of" by the way not the "average age of" the audience!
Cheers
Malc.
PS - average age was probably about 10 less!

Thanks for the "early warning" for Bedworth Festival - not to be missed!http://warkcom.net/live/cme2290.htm

Am very envious!! To think I missed out on another hug from the Champion Hugger himself...... Still, had a few at Alcester which should keep me going for a while!

I guess it's all finished - but I must add that the first time I heard John sing was IN the LADIES LOO at Warwick Festival 3 or 4 years ago and he gave a phenomenal rendition of Sammys' Bar at '0230hrs'. The accoustics are sooo good for 'cistern singers'!
Happy days
Hazel
