I've only just discovered Anne Hills and am bowled over by this song. Does anyone have the lyrics ready to cut and paste? (there are one or two places on the recording that I can't make out)

Wow---that was over 20 years ago!!?? Hard to believe. I sang backup on that song and a few others on the original LP -- on Hogeye Records -- out of the HOGEYE MUSIC STORE in Evanston Illinois. It was then owned by Anne and her then spouse Jan Burda. We drove Anne nuts when we changed the lyric to "Lend me your CAR while you sleep. In one photo on the LP I was holding my musical saw but it didn't make it onto the record. In another photo I was holding a stuffed jack-a-lope for some reason I can't recall.

Good memories though.

Is Jan Burda still at Hogeye ?I bought a guitar from him about the time that album came out. Nice guy,tho nowhere near as cute as Anne.
